She did her MBBS from MLN Medical College, Allahabad in 2001 and then pursued her postgraduation in OPHTHALMOLOGY from the prestigious KGMC Lucknow and completed it in 2005 with a Gold Medal. She also received a separate training in Glaucoma Diagnosis and Management from the world famous Aravind Eye Hospital, Trinulveli in Tamil Nadu.
In her career of 18 years she has worked in various superspeciality eye hospitals, multi specialty hospitals and medical college. She has performed over 10,000 eye surgeries and has keen interest in academic activities.
